My Story

I have always loved weddings. I first looked into Wedding Coordinating back in 2009 after I planned my wedding. I enjoyed it very much and was extremely grateful for the coordinator our venue supplied for the day. I began by volunteering my time at a local coordinating business here in Portland. It was completely nuts and decided I didn’t want to spend every weekend of my summer at someone else’s party!

Seven years later I found myself being asked to help with a friend’s wedding and then others from my church. I did my first official wedding in 2017 and fell back in love with coordinating! I was asked again to coordinate the following summer, and then again, and so on and so forth. So here I am, planning weddings and thoroughly enjoying it.

A lot happened since I first thought about this business but one thing remained the same: I was always event planning or organizing something! I was actually a Professional Organizer for almost four years. Then I held a pastoral position at a local church in Portland in which I planned events and developed teams of people. So much of what I have done up to this point has equipped me well to take on the challenge of owning my own Wedding Planning Business.

Currently, I am getting my Master’s in Christian Leadership at Multnomah Seminary. My husband and I purchased our first home in NE Portland in 2018 in which we did a full kitchen remodel (this is the first dishwasher we have had in 11 years of marriage!). We have two cats, Olive and Aoife, and a German Shepherd puppy, Ingrid. My husband works for Washington State as a Social Worker and loves his job.

Some of our favorite activities are wine tasting, hosting backyard parties, and going on little adventures around Oregon and Washington. I also have a deep love for writing. You can check out my personal blog at We have traveled to Prague twice now for fertility treatments with no luck as of yet but we are hopeful that we can still grow our family one way or another.

My core values are wisdom and faith because it is those two things that have kept me resilient in hard times without resentfulness. As your Wedding Planner, I will be nothing but transparent; starting from a place of honesty is the best place to start. With me, what you see is what you get which is why I love to meet everyone in person if possible. My clients become my friends and I want you to feel the same way. Your wedding is a big deal to you, and so it’s a big deal to me. I want to do whatever I can to make that day memorable in the best possible way.
