My 10 Favorite Things About Fall Weddings

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is now officially in stores ushering in the 2019 Fall season (although it’s still like 80 degrees here in Portland!) Either way, September is here and fall has arrived with back to school and cooler weather on its way. Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons of the year. My husband and I have made it out to the Fruit Loop in Hood River for apple season every year since we started dating (we are going on year 12!). I not only love the colors and the clothes but I love dragging out my fall decor and making our house cozy. Then you add a wedding on top of all the fabulous themes of fall and it’s just magical! Here are my top favorite things about fall weddings including some Pinterest links. Happy Pinning!

1 ~ Fall Flowers! Orange and yellow and reds, oh my!

Check out these great colors.

2 ~ Little pumpkins make the cutest place cards.

This is a simple but super cute idea.

3 ~ A fur and wool wrap totally make a dress.

I could just die!

4 ~ No sweaty groom or groomsmen (those tuxes get hot!)

5 ~ Outside photos against the changing leaves. That dress will just pop!

Absolutely stunning.

6 ~ Apple cider and Fall cocktails for your Cocktail hour.

I need one of these right now!

7 ~ Fall leaves, apples, and pumpkins are inexpensive decorations.

These are my favorite types of pumpkins to use.

8 ~ There are great venues that are versatile & flexible if the weather changes quickly.

There are still tickets available for the venue crawl!

9 ~ The fall season is a slower pace, no summer chaos to deal with!

AND LASTLY…

10 ~ Fire pits and S’more kits.

Doesn’t this look cozy?!

Hey friend! I'm excited to meet you! I live in Portland, OR and completely love city life. My hubby and I have been married for over 10 years and still completely adore each other. I am a Jesus follower who is passionate about building up the local church and developing healthy communities. It's so nice of you to stop by! So grab a coffee or a glass of wine, and hang out a bit.
